“Fractures” - a break, a crack, a split.
In this piece, a group of six jugglers will reach a breaking point,
Breaking apart the group by refusing it’s norm,
And rebuilding it in a better way.
This choreographic piece for 6 jugglers explores group relationships 
group relations, and in particular the mechanisms of social pressure. 
How we participate in it? How do we repeat it, often in spite of ourselves? 
Are our differences to be hidden or expressed?
A source of conflict or of bonding? 
Is social pressure always visibly violent, or unconscious and invisible? How can we free ourselves from it?

A day in the life of an overworked, jaded man,
trapped in his office and his routine,
He juggles his work, doing repetitive and absurd tasks,
while fighting against boredom and stress,
torn between his will to leave and his fear
of leaving his current life behind,
he tries to find ways to enjoy his work
and tests the limits of what little liberty he has left.

Through his obsessions, his rituals, his failures, his frustration,
and the little moments of happiness in his day,
he experiences the absurdities of a meaningless job in modern working culture.

Entre Noeuds is a choreographic creation for three jugglers.
It’s the meeting point between three people, each with their own unique and personal artistic universe,
where the body and the objects mutually influence each other, where juggling is an instigator for movement, and the body’s movement resonates through the objects.
Slowly but surely they meet and grow closer, creating a dance where contact and interaction are perpetual and cooperation is essential.
Each artist’s personality, juggling, and movement is amplified and enhanced by the group.
​What is impossible alone becomes possible by sharing, supporting and helping each other.

Both dancer and juggler face a common physical phenomenon in their practice: gravity.
Through a playful chain of causes and effects, two unpredictable characters search for balance and turn falling into a playground — a poetic way to question our relationship with failure.

Plaines d'été 2021 and 2022

Plaines d'été is a regional project by the French Ministry of Culture, for performances in public spaces.
We were selected to perform 12 times in 2021 and 10 times in 2022, we performed outdoor versions of our shows and organised juggling tours of towns and villages.
